Feeling Down, Would Have Been in Second Tri

Anyone else feeling sad? My bday is Christmas Eve, I'll be 32 and no baby. :( Meanwhile, we'd like to skip the holidays. Trying to be positive, but I can't help but feel depressed, sad and even a little dare I say....jealous of all these people with babies. Getting all the holiday cards with baby pictures is making me feel so sad. I know it's wrong, but we can't help it. We did get a little puppy to help cheer us up, and that has really been amazing and is keeping me busy, but of course it's not the same. I keep thinking I would be in the second tri right now. Oh well...still bleeding very slightly from the d&c but the doctor said everything healed nicely and I should get my period in about 4 weeks.

I totally know where you are coming from. I'd be in my 3rd tri now and I really thought I would be pregnant by now but I guess it's not in the cards..
A puppy is great! It will totally help a little. Keep you busy and needs your love...try to enjoy the holidays. I'm glad that your doctor said everyhting went well.

I understand what you're saying. I remember when I first got pregnant and began calculating everything. I remember thinking that by the time I saw my family for Christmas I would already have a tummy and know the sex of my baby. It was so exciting then. So now that I've reached that point and am not "there" it just kinda stings.

I completely understand where you are coming from. I feel the same way. Holidays just aren't the same since my m/c. Thanksgiving suckked and though I love Christmas but, it's really hard going through the holidays.

I totally know how you feel... I would have a 10 month old right now and be 5 months pregnant with my second.... but we are still waiting.... it is so super hard especially with all the holidays... we will get there...

It def is hard during the holidays. I would be in the end of my 2nd trimester before my 1st miscarriage, & then for the second miscarriage I was going to share during the Holidays. I just can't wait for this yr to be over and hope for great things in 2010!!!


I think your new puppy will def help to take your mind off of things. We have a golden retriever now & my husband and I are considering getting a second dog. Which is crazy b.c we live in a 1 bedroom apartment in NYC and We have to walk them both then. But I just love animals..

Why kind of dog did you get???

Lana i know how you feel. i had my m/c in Oct of last year and i remb feeling so down around the holidays. I even look back at last years Xmas pics and i swear you could see the sadness in my eyes.

I know its hard but you WILL get thru this. I PROMISE!!!!!!!!!! You will feel SOOOOOO much better when you get AF.
