I cant remember the book....can you help
I read this book a few years ago, and its about this guy (I believe he is dead, maybe not) and for some reason he is stuck in NY from before the US is a country until modern day and he watches the city form from its infancy to modern day. It was really good, but I cant remember the name of it.....anyone?

I didn't read it, but this sounds like Forever, by Pete Hamill? Maybe?

Wow! Glad I could help! It's a good thing I teach his other novel, Snow in August, or I don't think I'd have had any idea that Forever even existed.
