My boy arrived
My little guy arrived last Monday, December 21 at 8:55 p.m.
What an extremely long day, but in the end worth every second. I went into the hospital at 8 am, received potosin(sp?) at 10. By 1 I was still only 3 cm so they broke my water. Hours later I was still only 5 cm. I finally gave in and asked for an epi although i was trying hard not to get it. Of course, when I finally said yes, the dr. was at a c-section and I had to wait over 30 min. When I got the epi it was much better. That was around 645 and by 8 i was fully dilated and effaced and ready to push. It was the worst 55 minutes of my life. I yelled at my dh and sister the whole time. I even said I want to go home. My dh said he is not giving me anymore children because he never wants to seem me like that again. I wound up being cut 3 times and having an episiotomy. She needed to use 3 locals and 2 strings. She wouldnt even tell me how many stitches, thats how bad it was. She said that if she didnt he would have torn me to shreads and she wouldnt have been able to stitch it as well. My beautiful angel was born at 8:55 pm 7.14lbs and 20.25 in. He is absolutely perfect.
My doctor and the hospital were better than I ever could have expected. Each nurse and aide ws nicer than the previous one. I am so blessed. Now here he is
