Just wanted to say hi and good luck to everyone! 
DH and I decided to start TTC after I stop my pill this week. Very nervous and excited all at the same time.
DH went to announce it at dinner last night with his family and I was like um, no! I felt bad, but I want us to enjoy it by ourselves a little. Plus, there is really nothing to announce except we plan on BDing. Sounds weird to discuss.

I totally agree with you, I'm not telling ANYONE until we actually get pregnant... It IS weird (for us, anyway) to discuss, and it ruins the element of surprise when you get to give everyone the good news...

Is it weird that I don't want to tell anyone? I'm pretty sure DH has told a friend of his that is also TTC. Him I don't mind, I just don't want to tell anyone really close to ME.

The only people that know we are TTC are our friends that are pregnant or have a baby already.
It's kind of a weird thing for people to wrap their heads around if they aren't in the same boat as you.
Plus-in the event that it takes us a while I don't want people to keep asking "how's it going?"

We arent telling anyone. If It takes us a long time I dont want to be asked if we are pg every month.
