Dinner Tonight
Normally when DH works nights I eat chips or nuggets or something totally NON healthy.
Tonight I decided to actually MAKE dinner. I'm having a turkey burger (made 5-lunch tomorrow and leftovers tomorrow night ) with beet salad!!! I've been sort of obsessed with beets lately (never had them in my life).
What's on everyone else's menu?

Re: Dinner Tonight
Supposed to be leftover pot roast, but considering I couldn't eat it last night, I'm thinking grilled cheese is in order.

Re: Dinner Tonight
Good for you making the turkey burger lol...
My mom has invited us over for dinner... she made lentil soup becasue everyone is fasting (no meat or dairy) except for me because I am pregnant...
The thing no one in my family knows that Im pregnant yet so we'll go but I'll probably have something more filling at home before I go...

We're supposed to be fasting too but for Greek Christmas. Since I havent had to do it bc I'm pregnant DH kinda fell off that wagon fast!
So I made pulled chicken for dinner. We had it on rolls with french fries.

My stomach is a bit queasy today, so it was no yolks egg noodles with butter and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese for dinner.

Re: Dinner Tonight
I had a salad with mushrooms and cucumbers and Elio's pizza. I was relatively well-behaved today eating wise (meaning I did not treat chocolate and cookies as their own food group) so I decided to eat the last pizza in the freezer so I can start my 'Please Don't Let Me Gain 50lbs' eating plan tomorrow.

Re: Dinner Tonight
We had soup....yet again for dinner! My husband is starting to call it the "first trimester" dinner because i'm too damn tired to do anything when I get home. A can of soup is simple! And the cleanup is a breeze!! I figure if he starts to get sick of them, maybe he will introduce himself to the kitchen and make me a meal for once! But i'm not holding my breath!

Ann - J made homemade pickled beets a few months ago and we still have quite a few jars left. Do you like pickled beets?? I'll bring you a jar if I'm able to come out for your baby shower.

Re: Dinner Tonight
Dinner by my mom's tonight...she made steak, mashed potatoes and salad but I was craving her homemade onion soup (a constant craving lately) so she made me a nice bowl of that also! Gotta love moms!
