is anyone a typ I diabetic and TTC?
I hope to start soon, once i get all my numbers in order, i was just wondering if there was anyone else out there with type I diabeties and how they handled it.

I'm not type 1 or type 2, I'm insulin resistant and I was told to really watch my nutrition when TTC. I was told I need to eat more carbs than I'm used to because high protein/low carb diets are not healthy for the baby.

I'm a Type 1 diabetic and currently 18 weeks pregnant. My endocronologist recommended I get on an insulin pump and have an A1C below 6.0 before trying. So, about a year before we TTC, I got on the pump and got the green light in April.
It just takes a lot of testing and fine tuning your insulin. Good luck!

Thank you for the welcomes and replies, I went on an insulin pump for a year, can't seem to get the numbers right, so frustrating! dh and i want to start trying so badly
