Pre-school Recommendations

Can anyone recommend a good preschool? We don't really have anyone to ask with small children in our area. We live in Wantagh and want to send our son in September. He will be 3.
Thank you for your help.

Kiddie Junction has great reviews but it's not that close to you.

Did you check little village?

Most families in Wantagh send their kids to Wee Friends, Maplewood or Pixie Academy (on Wantagh Ave across from the Victorian condos). My kids go to Wee Friends.

Other local schools I've heard good things about are the one in the church across from Applebee's in Bellmore, Our Redeemer on Washington Ave in Seaford, and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Regional school early childhood center in Bellmore (they require your child be fully potty trained before they will accept them).

Re: Pre-school Recommendations

epending on how far you want to go, there is also south shore in North Bellmore, merrick woods in merrick.

my dd goes to the east meadow jewish center in east meadow (we're north bellmore) and we adore the place. its a small preschool, not a day care. and the teachers are great, they truly love the kids. and they've all been there for years. there is very little turnover. i've been very happy with them, and choise them partially because i had at least 4 different friends and one cousin who all raved about the place.

My son goes to United Methodist in Bellmore (behind Applebees in Bellmore). My son has been there for 2 years and my youngest starts in September. I am very happy there. I have used Wee Friends in Wantagh for camp.
