are you buying two cribs?
We live in a two bedroom apartment in NYC. It's big but not all that big. Yes we could fit two cribs in the second bedroom but do we really need two right away?

Re: are you buying two cribs?
We bought 1, and had another one that was a hand me down from a family member. We didn't assemble the 2nd crib until they were 3 months old.

Re: are you buying two cribs?
we are buying 2 cribs.. but i think we are just getting the standard cribs.. not the convertible ones. our problem is the cost.. buying 2 cribs is so expensive.

its the one that turns into a daybed, and eventually a full bed.

We have two cribs but I plan to put them in the same crib until they start rolling over.

Re: are you buying two cribs?
I def think you can start out with one crib, but in a couple of months will def. need two.

I bought 2 right away. My boys were in the same cosleeper for months. I would say in my experience you don't need 2 right away.

Re: are you buying two cribs?
We got two inexpensive cribs. They slept in one crib for about 2 months and then Nicolas started turning (I put him to sleep with his head at one and and when he woke up, his head was on the other end) so I seperated them. You will definatley need 2 at some point.

D- We bought Jenny Lind cribs from BRU. Nothing fancy but they convert to toddler beds and they only cost $120 each.

We will most likely get those cribs as well - they are adorable and a little bit smaller than the other cribs. They take a standard size mattress, but dont have the detailing along the back and sides of the crib that can add size. Our nursery isn't too big so we needed to really pay attention to size.

Re: are you buying two cribs?
I had one crib from my 1st DS and we got another one. Right now they are together in a huge old fashion type cradle but next month they will move to their separate cribs.

Re: are you buying two cribs?
I just had my boys in 1 crib till about 3-4mths then I had to put them in seperate. It was so cute when they were together at first they would always manage to have to touch eachother when they were sleeping. That was almost 12yrs ago!!! Time flyes!!!

Re: are you buying two cribs?
I kept them in one crib for less than two months. I wanted them to stay together longer but they just moved too much. I'd say that you will need two cribs sooner than later.

Re: are you buying two cribs?
We set up one crib and I bought a crib divider to go in the middle which I am about to put in soon...And we will be using my sons old one as teh 2nd. They are 3 months and right now still sleep in the twin pack and play all night. I hope to get them used to the crib within the month and then probably they will need to be seperated shortly after. I'm not really sure.
