Centerpieces for Baptism?
My sisters sons baptism is next weekend and we're all stumped on what kind of centerpieces to have on the tables at the restaurant. What did you all do?

Re: Centerpieces for Baptism?
I made a flower CP that was under water in a vase. I put clear rocks in the bottom and a floating candle. I went to AC Moore for help with the choice of flowers that look more realistic and worked better in water. I have to say it was a huge success, DH really liked it also. I have to try and find a pic of the sample one.

Re: Centerpieces for Baptism?
It was at my house, but I got the watering cans and ribbon from Michael's and had LA Blossom add the flowers. They were supposed to be lavender roses.
You could easily do something this this for a restaurant.

Re: Centerpieces for Baptism?
Ours was a few weeks before Christmas so I bought large poinsettias and had one on each table (party was at a restaurant).

Re: Centerpieces for Baptism?
I would get really simple flower arrangements or even small balloon arrangements (cheaper option) you can get pretty pearlized balloons.

Re: Centerpieces for Baptism?
I was going to do flowers but decided on balloons instead. The room had high ceilings so I think small centerpieces would have gotten lost. I got the balloons from Party City and tied them up on my own. Image Attachment(s):

Re: Centerpieces for Baptism?
our restaurant is providing balloon CPs but if they hadnt I was going to do a huricane vase with a candle and tie organza ribbon around it (white w/pink or blue)

Re: Centerpieces for Baptism?
I bought flowers from Stop and Shop and made little vases for each table. It was really easy and I got a lot of compliments. The guests were able to take the vases home too. DD was baptized in October, so we used fall colors for everything, but the cake. lol Image Attachment(s):

Re: Centerpieces for Baptism?
We had cross cookies made and individually wrapped and arrange into a flower basket. This was the centerpiece and then guests each took home a cookie as a favor!
