Pre-school Needed
I have been looking for a pre-school for my 3 yr old to start in September. I would like to find one with a nice learning environment in the Wantagh, Seaford, Bellmore area. Anyone know of anything???? Any recommendations would really be appreciated.

My daughter goes to Twin Oaks and we love it. My son went there and so did my nephew. They are wonderful there.

Don't have any specific recommendations. But check out www.greatschools.net. You can search by town and they will list many of the preschools for that town.

Take a look at Orly's Treehouse in Westbury if you are looking for one that is 1/2 day. I see the kids and parents while my son takes classes and my other little one is in the playground and they seem to do a great job with the children.

Re: Pre-school Needed
DS went to South Shore in Bellmore for 2 years of pre school. He absolutely loved it and still says he wants to stop by and say hello to his old teachers (he is now 6 in 1st grade). We also sent him to their summer camp program. We were very happy with South Shore.
If youare looking for program that is just a few hours a week I have heard very good things about Pixi on Wantagh Ave.

Also look into Maplewood in Wantagh and the one in Bellmore behind Applebee's. There is a Grace in Bellmore that some of the kids my dd knows went to and they all liked it. I know people who do summer camp and kindergarten enrichment at MATSS in Bellmore and like it. Pretty sure they have a toddler program.
My kids go to Wee Friends, we're happy there.
I also know people who have done Maplewood, Pixie, Christ Lutheran, Our Redeemer, Grace (Massapequa), and the one behind Applebee's and they all were happy with them.
