PeaPod

I decided this year I was going to start using PeaPod for my big shopping orders. I waste alot of time going to the grocery store, I have to say, I love it! I have had 2 great experiences with them and I'm going to keep using them, especially when I have parties (heavy stuff - soda, etc.). It's awesome, they bring it in the house too! I also have a code to use online to $5 off my delivery!

I know, a CF couple using a grocery delivery service, but 3 dogs and 1 cat later..it's a big order.

Anyone else use them?

I just switched to PeaPod. I was using Waldbaums but they stopped offering my yogurt online. I like the service but I found it frustrating to get a good delivery window. I placed my first order on a Saturday afternoon at 4:30 and missed the cut off time for a Sunday delivery. WTH??

Waldbaums had same day delivery if you placed the order early enough and for a few extra bucks.

I enjoy the whole concept though. I save a lot of time since I mostly reorder the same things & can shop off old lists. I can take care of it from work or at 11pm. I dont buy things on impulse nor I don't wander in the aisles trying to remember if I already have something at home so I save money too.

I have used them a few times and like it but I also like going to the supermarket.... I know, Im crazy like that!!

I do too- especially now that Stop and Shop has the self scanner.
It's like a game scanning all my merchandise!
I'm like a little kid!

I don't mind going grocery shopping, as long as DH stays home. I don't go up and down every aisle, and go with shopping list in hand, so I can usually get in and out rather quickly. I like picking out my own produce and meats, and I also look for sales items that are not posted in the weekly sales flyer.
Waldbaum's by me has the self scanners too, but there is a limit of 20 items or less, plus I can't get credit for using my reusable bags unless I stop and ask the attendant.

They don't have anything like this down here.
There are 10 grocery stores in a 7 mile radius though.

I LOVE grocery shopping!!! It is one of the ways I relax lol I love to take my sweet time walking up and down the aisles, looking and everything for sale. Yeah I'm weird.

Does peapod take and double coupons? That is one big reason why I wouldn't use a service like that.

BTW DH and I can't grocery shop together either. I just love to but we always end up in a fight!
