VACATIONS 2010
Anyone have any plans?
We just booked a trip to Europe in June, I am SO excited. Originally it was supposed to be Italy only, but I managed to squeeze in 2 days in Germany so I could visit one of my friends. We will fly to Rome from Frankfurt and meet up with my BFF, her DH and her DD (my goddaughter), for a week in Italy with Trafalgar Tours.
Oddly, it ended up being cheaper to fly to Frankfurt, spend 2 nights and fly to Rome, than doing round trip direct to Rome from JFK. Go figure.

We haven't booked anything yet but are planing Sydney, Australia to visit a friend in September and then taking a week in Indonesia on the way back. Just have to solidify dates and what not!
We also have a few trips to visit family thrown in there but I don't consider that vacay

I want to plan something, but not sure yet.
We're planning on going to the Galapagos in 2011, so we really shouldn't do anything this year and save $$$ for that.... but I dont think that will happen!

Oooooh Europe sounds great, I'm totally jealous! We are planning that for 2011 so our vacations this year will be shorter and less pricey.
In March we are going to visit my parents in Florida. DH and Dad will spend the whole time golfing, Mom and I will spend the whole time bs'ing over food and coffee. We did it last year and it was a nice, relaxing weekend to reconnect with them.
We are going to try to swing a trip down to Texas to visit the superest of SuperKats and her family, and then take a side trip to Austin. Hopefully we can get that done before summer starts so we don't melt.

Right now nothing is planned. We may do weekend trips. I might have to go to Ohio(family) and usually DH won't go but he might this time because it should be a summer trip.

We had a 10 night cruise planned in march, and then after that we were going to stay in florida for a few days.
DH had to cancel the entire trip because he is super busy at work. 
I am pretty bummed, we have no trips coming up at all in 2010, my 30th birthday is at the end of july, and i am hoping and praying every single day that DH takes me away somewhere special.
I think i may be disappointed though and will probably be sitting home for my bday

No formal plans this year. I have 2 weddings that we are in (very close to us so very $$) and we are moving this year. One wedding is upstate so that is a mini-vaca and I will possibly be going to Vegas or Miami for a Bachelorette party.

Sounds like some nice trips! We don't have too much planned yet, mostly in the talking stage still. Possibly DC in May for DH's b-day and def. The Bershires in August (annual FAMILY trip--mom, dad, sis, bil and our 4 nieces and nephews). We're thinking about New Orleans for our anniversary trip in November...
