Anyone know what's up with the helicopter circling over Lindenhurst?
For the last 20-30 minutes there's been a helicopter circling low over Lindenhurst. I can't get stories on News12 or Newsday because we aren't subscribers (talk about a monopoly. Any idea what's up?

I saw this on Newsday maybe its this:
Police: Three people shot in N. Amityville
Three people were shot Friday within a few minutes of one another in North Amityville at two locations less than a mile apart, Suffolk police said.
Police have not ruled out that the same person or people may be involved. The suspects remained at large, they said.
The three victims were shot outside residences between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., police said. Police declined to release the victims' names or conditions.
At one location, on Coolidge Avenue just east of Route 110, at least two bullet holes marked the driver's-side door of a dark-colored sedan parked in a driveway. Detectives and orange crime scene cones surrounded the car.
Less than a mile away, on South Prospect Street near Sunrise Highway, about a dozen detectives and officers gathered outside a residence.
A woman who lives across the street but did not want to be identified said she heard a shot and looked outside to see a young man lying in the front yard.
Another neighbor, Devon Brown, 44, said he was in his home Friday morning when he heard two gunshots. He went outside, but didn't see anything.
Police responded a short time later, he said, and he saw a man loaded into an ambulance and driven away.
"There's trouble around here all the time, but not like this," Brown said. "I know it's a hot area. They're selling drugs and all that."
