Blackberry or Iphone?

I can not decide! Can someone convince me, or give me details about either one!?

Is this for business or pleasure?

I actually own both -- b/c I find the iphone to be completely unreliable (ATT) in terms of service / dropped calls, etc. So, I use my iphone for the applications (should have just stuck with the ipod touch) and personal emails.

I use the Blackberry for my business and have an unlimited calling plan b/c Verizon service is the BEST. Been with them for 10 years, and never had a dropped call or went out of service.

blackberry all the way! i use it for personal use.
I have an itouch and not a big fan of touch screens especially typing on them.

verizon is coming out with iphone this year..

I love them both! I was a long time Blackberry user and now an iPhone user. they both have good and bad points. I depends on what kind of user you are and for what

I text a lot and use google and facebook a lot. Mostly internet stuff.

DH has an iphone (for personal), I have a BB curve (for work)

I say iphone is wayyyy better, but my job doesn't let us use it for e-mail because it's not secure.

I say iphone wins for:

look
ease of use
speed of web browser (DH looks up whatever he needs in a second while I'm still loading the web browser... slowly)
screen size
variety of apps

I say bb wins for:

e-mail access/security
camera (has a flash and takes much better pictures than his iphone)
alerting you if you get e-mail/messages
cost (I paid $.01 for my bb due to an amazon special)

In sum, if you're using it mainly for e-mail and need to-the-minute notification, I'd say BB. If you want it for internet access and apps, I'd say BB.

even just going on facebook is like being on your computer where as i find it annoying to got on, on friends BB

for the internet i think it is better to it is much easier to scroll through and look at things. its all touch screen. you just cant post on LIF/LIW from your Iphone.. not sure why.. i think you can from BB

I have had mine for at least 6 months and I am still amazed by things I keep discovering I can do with it

the only thing i wish it had was BB messanger just because i feel like all the BB people use that to communicate.


for fun and pleasure, internet usage.. iphone is the way to go

Why don't you go to the store and try out both phones? Do you like the touch screen function? I can't stand touch screen so thats why I have the blackberry.

my list of pro's and con's

Iphone:
PROS: great for going online "looking" - apps - facebook twitter etc. games, etc.
CONS: phone serv. stinks (in my case), typing more then one sentence stinks and i find it gets dirty faster.

That is why i returned it.

Blackberry/Smartphone:
PROS: You can get a real keyboard, you can have a better phone plan (verizon), you can run pc based applications if you need it
CONS: the apps are not as great as Iphone, its not as "cool" looking, you don't have everything as icons like the iphone *depending on the model
