BFP...and telling DH??

Hi Ladies!!! So I had OPK on Wed & Thurs!!! BD both nights and going to try again tonight.. So as i sit here wishing the 2 ww was here and some wishfull thinking.. How are you planning on telling DH?????

I think I'm going to put the positive pregnancy test in a plastic bag and wrap it in an "I Love Daddy" bib (that I've already seen at Target) and give him a present...so hoping for it to be a Valentine's Day present!!

Um I ran and showed him the HPT when the second line showed up lol. Maybe this time around I can be more creative about it, but somehow I don't think it will happen.

I already bought an I love Daddy bib and an I love Daddy book. I plan on wrapping them both up with the test. Like pp said hopefully this wil be a Valentine's Day present!

I can tell you what I did 7 years ago when I found out I was pregnant with Molly...I had been charting and noticed that things were in "my favor" so I took at test at 9:45pm. I saw the faintest line ever. I called my best friend and she said "a line, is a line but test again in the morning". I could not sleep at all and woke up at 4:45am. I retest and there were 2 dark lines. I started to cry and went over to my husband, who was asleep and said, "Look. There are lines" He had NO idea what the heck was going on. And then he realized it. It was amazing.
Not a big special planned event, but just what happened.

I can tell you what i did...

I come home earlier then DH so after work I went and bought a JETS onsie and when I came home I layed in bed under the covers and and I put the onsie and the + test on his side of the bed and under the covers. (nicely displayed)

So when he came home I told him I'm watching tv in the bedroom and he came in to change and take his thing out of his pocket and i said "come lay down with me" so he opened the blanket and he couldn't beleive it. It was an awesome surprise!

I found out Christmas morning. I had a 2ww appointment with my RE 4 days later, so I decided to use my last stick. He didn't know I was going in to POAS.

When I saw that line appear, I ran out of the bathroom & said "we did it"

He just looked at me & had no idea what I was talking about it...until I remembered I left the stick on the floor of the bathroom. I ran back & grabbed it. When he saw that, it all clicked.

I found out on xmas eve at my parents house and I was so surprised I ran upstairs and screamed "there's a line!!!" He had no idea what I was talking about for a minute! I had also bought him a shirt with stick figures of a man and a preggo woman that said "bullseye", but I couldn't fit it in my bag so I left it at home. I gave it to him when we returned.

I want to buy a baby shirt from Babies R Us or something cute like that....but knowing me... I'll prob just run out of the bathroom and yell like a little school girl

I promised DH we would always test together. While I am tempted, I think it'll be great to find out together at the same time.

I would love to tell DH in a special way...... a little baby thing that says "Love Daddy"... but I just know I will be WAY too excited! I was just thinking how when I do find out, it will probably be in the morning before I go to work. If I don't tell DH that morning, I will end up blurting it out to my friends at work...... and how sad would it be if the first person to hear about my BFP was a friend at work!

I want the first person to know about it to be DH (aside from LIF of course, who will probably know first, if I plan on surprising DH later in the day!!)

I want to get a thing prepared, but I feel like that's bad luck.
