Juice?

At what age did you start juice? Like the Gerber juices? Kiera hasn't really been thrilled with taking her bottle after meals. I'm wondering if she wants some juice to wash down her meal and then a bottle about 30 minutes later. Normally she takes about 3 ounces after her "real" meals. And she would take it about 30 minutes past it. But for the last week she's only been taking about 2 ounces of it. Almost as if she's just looking to wash down her food with something.

Any thoughts?

I think she's at the right age. Amber started w/diluted juice around six months. She gets fussy with her formula now (she'll be a year old in two weeks). She was looking for a little variety.

I gave Emily water in a sippy cup from about six months after her meals. She is now nine months and I just started watered down Gerber juice for her. She likes it, but I think she prefers cold water.

James wont take the juice from a bottle...he refuses it...but if I put it in a sippy cup he cant get enough....i have no idea why he does this.
I started with the diluted juice at 9 months...(but corrected he was 6 months)

be careful with the juice - I just took Jordan to the dentist and they told me that he doesn't need any juice, just water - it's really bad for their teeth...

I gave her around 7 months a little watered down juice, 4 oz of water w/ a splash or two of juice

my dr told me to give juice at 6 months. as soon as he was able to eat that fruit he could have the juice. i usual water it down half and half.

I have not tried juice yet...I always heard that it was not recommended...but the ped. has not said anything either way. I will ask at Nick's 9 month appt.

Marissa is 9 months and I started her on juice last month she didn't take to it first but then I tried different ones and sshe likes them now. I try to put the juice in a sippy cup instead of a bottle but when we are out and I dont' have a sippy cup I put it in the bottle
