where do you keep your cat liter?
where is your liter box in your house????
and if you have a dog, do they stay away from it?

We have a little kitty door that goes out to our backyard. I don't want her going outside so we put the box right up next to the little door and it is in an enclosure. My dog stays out of it.

i really want to install a little enclosure for the cat to go outside when she wants. She loves the outdoors but we hate having her outside where she goes into people's yards, etc.
OP we are under massive rennovations so right now its in our bedroom (no room in our bathroom), we also had it in the kitchen *eh, but eventually we will move it into our second bathroom. IF we didn't have the choice of bathroom we would of installed a little kitty door for the basement door and have it down there.
I clean it daily sometimes twice a day though.

Since we don't have a basement we keep the liter box in a spare bedroom-and the liter itself in the garage until we need it.
We don't have a dog so I can't help you on that one!  The only thing I can say is you probably have to be very diligent about scooping the poops out ASAP.
Or if it really becomes an issue they sell designer cat boxes that look like furniture- and are harder for dogs to access...

we dont have a basement so the litter box is tucked away behind the desk in the office... our dog USED to nose around in it, but he knows not to now & the most he'll do is sniff it

In the laundry room. There is a door going into the room, and we put in a kitty door. The dog cannot fit through it.
