Who wants to help?
My friend is student teaching, and for one of her classes she has to do a research project and ask teachers questions. If you would like to help please answer! Thanks! (I know there is a lot, so you don't have to answer them all)
1. What is your personal philosophy of behavior management and discipline?
2. In a perfect world how you describe the best classroom arrangement for primary grades and why?
3. What strategies do you favor with regards to classroom management and why?
4. How do you encourage your students to take responsibility for their own actions?
5. How did you come up with your classroom rules? Were the students involved?
6. Do you handle behavior issues differently for children with special needs? How do you differentiate?
7. Recalling a challenging class, which classroom management strategies worked and why?
8. What expectations, wiht regards to developmentally appropriate practices, can a new primary teacher expect from the behavior of her students?
9. How do you handle indifference from a parent with regards to behavior issues?
10. What advice would you give a new teacher about setting uo a classroom with regards to behavior management and discipline?
If you got this far, thank you so much for helping my friend out!!

Re: Who wants to help?
Based on the questions, I assume you don't want/need answers from high school teachers? (Can you tell I'm procrastinating grading papers? )

Re: Who wants to help?
I don't think it matters, she is student teaching in a K-6 school, not sure what grades, but I think any input would help.
