NYC Teachers...How many kids did you have today?
We were all given a 1st period prep which was super nice of my administration!!
Only 4 teachers called out.
I had 13 kids absent.

I had 7 students absent....then I had 2 more kids from another class b/c we had quite a few teachers out today. Nice huh

We had about 40 teachers absent at my school today!!!! I have no idea how they got subs/coverages for all those teachers.
One of my classes had 5 kids, two other classes had 8 or 9 kids, and the other class had about 12.
What a waste of a day!!!!

23 students out of 27 and 45 teachers were out, about 1/4 of the school

At my preschool, there 31 kids out and 26 kids present. Some classes had only 1 child!

Most of the staff made it- I was surprised. And usually it's the people who live in the city while the suburbanites manage to get in.
I had 5 kids out in one class and 9 in the other.
