Who saw Temple Grandin??
DH and I LOVED it. We cried a lot throughout the movie. Very moving

I wanted to see it but don't have HBO - my parents TIVO'd it so I hope to see it soon. I have seen her speak and met her many times - love her!!!!!

I'm not familiar with what you just watched, but I was part of a women's fellowship program in grad school and we invited her to be the keynote speaker at our annual conference my first year
She is a spectacular woman!

I saw it last night....very moving and she was very fascinating!
What I found most interesting, because of course I really only think of autism as it relates to children because that is how it most relates to me now, but how as an adult with autism she is so self-aware of her diagnosis, strengths and limitations. She knows how her autism effects her. Is that typical?
