Our nursery theme pics
We are going to go with a Nautical type theme. While I mostly liked the quilted type bedding sets, DH liked the more "fun" type bedding so this was the set we agreed upon. It is very nice in person. We are not using the valance in the pic, I despise it! But we will probably buy something in navy blue instead. I am also not a huge fan of those cloth wall hangings so we will probably just frame our own pics. We have lots of sail boat/ocean pics from our honeymoon so we may use those.
We registered for this lamp, it's SO cute!
We bought this switch plate cover on clearance...it actually goes with the nautica kids set but we thought it matched ours as well
we are planning on doing beadboard with chair rail on the bottom half or 1/3 of the wall in the nursery. DH is going to install it.
This is the border that we already bought which will sit above the chair rail
And we just decided on the paint color yesterday. It is called polar ice by benjamin moore. It is light and airy and the shade blended nicely with the border.
And finally the crib we ordered on Saturday. DH says it was his valentines day gift. It is by Baby Italia in Dark walnut. The ratings were excellent, and we loved the simplicity of it and the fact that it seemed to match his childhood furniture set better than any other crib we looked at. We will be using his childhood furniture for DS. DH is so excited!
And that's all for now!! DH is going to start working on the nursery this weekend.

I love your ideas! DH and I can't decide if we want a nautical theme or transportation theme (boats, cars, trains & airplaines). I think the transportation theme might be too much though. I think either nautical or planes.

Aww- I love it. The valance to my set was also insane for some reason- so we also picked out an accent color and just got a plain valance.
