Weight Gain

I am 20 weeks and have gained 18 pounds, is everyone else in this area? The doctor didn't seem concerned. I am constantly hunger and nothing I eat seems to satisfy me.

How many pounds can I expect to gain in total?

That sounds totally fine. At 20 weeks I was up about 15 pounds I think. I delivered at 36 weeks and had gained a total of 34 pounds at that point. I was back to my pre-pregnancy weight by 7 days pp.

I gained 50lbs total and at 8 months PP I still haven't lost it all :(

i gained 25lbs at my 26 week appt.

At 22 weeks, I have gained 14 pounds.

I gained 33 in total..was overweight to begin with though, and IMO I ate a lot...I didn't have a large appetite though and at the end couldnt fit much food in

eta- I lost all 33 within a week of delivery.

I gained a total of 40 lbs by my 36 weeks csection date but lost it all by my 6 weeks check-up. I am now 6 months pp weighing less than I did before I got pregnant but have all the extra "STUFF" hanging and a hernia.... Tummy tuck here I come.......

I will be 32 weeks on Thursday and I have gained 12 lbs, I am overweight to start with and also have GD so I am watching what I eat as well.

yes it must be noted that although I lost all the weight, I most certaintly cannot fit into what I had fit into before

i am 19 wks and have gained about 20 lbs


ive been on strict bed rest for the past 3 wks though and gained 8 lbs just in that time. i dont know what im gonna do bc if im on bed rest for the rest of this PG im gonna get huge

I gained a total of 42 pounds -delivered at 37 weeks. I think you are doing great!
I wasn't overweight to begin with, and lost the majority by my 6 week check up.

But - i have to admit - my body has changed - my clothes did not fit me the same way.

I gained 50 pounds and lost 30 right after the birth. The other 20 is still there, 9 months later

I gained 15lbs total...I had weight to lose to begin with though

I think I had gained around 10lbs at that point; I gained 35 total and lost most of it by 3 monthspp.

i am 25 weeks and have gained 18 pounds i asked the dr if thats okay and he seemed fine with it, he said it really depends on the individual and how big you are prior to getting pregnant,
my babies are healthy and a nice size so thats what matters
