Thanks for asking We went this morning and the doctor said his eyes are very irritated and inflamed. He gave us a prescription to reduce the inflammation and now we are getting ready to go back to see the doctor tonight. I feel so bad for DH

Did the Doctor say why his eyes are so irritated and inflamed?
Which Dr did the surgery?
Has he seen a difference in his eye site?
I had a different surgery, I had PRK, so my healing process was alot longer. But my sister who had the Lasik healed very quickly, BUT everyone is different and heals differently.
If he is in pain, they can prescribe painkillers to make him more comfortable.
I feel for him, I really do!!! I know what he is going through and it is scary, but it will get better, I promise!!!!
Tell him to be patient and do all the drops religiously (which I am sure you are doing fro him now, because for about 5 days I couldn't so them myself).
If he gets frustrated and bored, try playing a CD or read to him. Do not let him watch TV (which right now is the last thing on his mind, but he may get the urge in the near future.)
I hope he is feeling better soon!!!

Dr Werner did the surgery. He said his cornea was "bothered" by the surgery and right now his eye is inflammed and red but healing. Yesterday his eyesight, when he opened his eyes was good. Today he says it is a bit fuzzy...he describes it as being underwater. But he doesn't seem to have as much "gunk" and the doctor said he may irrigate his eyes tonight when we go.
I just hope he gets through this OK...and soon!
I am putting the drops in religiously...thanks for asking about him. I will post later what the doctor says.

Well the doctor decided to irrigate his right eye. He said some White blood cells under the "flap" were infected and they went in and sort of flushed it out. He was in a lot of pain and got some Vicodin to soothe it. He is now  and goes back to the doctor tomorrow. I feel so bad for him and just wish this was over
