How ols was your DC when you started using wipes?
Did any of you use thm from birth? The Dr told me 2 months but I want to start using them for bowel movments right now at 1 month.

As soon as we got home from the hospital with DS.
I vaguely remember using cotton balls with DD but I'm sure that couldn't have lasted very long...

ETA: We have always used the sensitive, non-scented alcohol-free wipes.

so weird.. I wonder why our hospital & Ped told us to use warm water & paper towels until DS was 2 months old. His circ is totally healed & I feel that he is not clean enough with just water.

We brought our own wipes to the hospital because I could never get my babies clean with the gauzy stuff they gave us...

Since birth they provided us with ones that were alcohol free and hypoallergenic at the hospital.

Since we brought DS home from the hospital. Weve been using the Pampers Sensitive wipes.

I think I tried to use the cloths they sent us home with but it was very inconvenient so we went right to sensitive wipes.

Birth for both but only for bowel movements not urine. I never use or used them for urine only.

I brought Pampers sensitive wipes to the hospital with both my kids and used them for the fisrt diaper change

Our hospital used them right away, but the wipes they used gave DS a horrible diaper rash. We used a different brand when we came home from the hospital and have had no issues.

I used wipes from the moment my DD came home from the hospital. I use Huggies with Shea Butter. Never had a problem. I don't know why they tell you to wait, I don't really see the point. If you want to use wipes then go ahead and use wipes. I think it's just a preference thing.
