Huggies Overnights....Update at bottom...
So I bought a package of Huggies Overnights in hopes that I wouldn't have to strip DS down when he woke up and change him. Wrong....He slept for 6 hours and woke up soaking wet. Gotta love changing a screaming 4 month old at 3am...He was hungry, wet, and cold. I have run out of options. I have tried everything. Diaper booster pads work great if he doesn't sleep all night on his side. Which he does most of the time. I tried doubling up diapers, that didn't work. I have tried moving up a size in diapers....There has got to be something I can do to keep him dry...I am running out of pj's....

Re: Huggies Overnights....
i make sure i point ds peepee down. have u made sure they are on nice and snug? i noticed a few times when ds peed thru it was bc i either forgot to point his peepee down or that i put them on too loose.
the huggies overnites work great (12hrs) for ds a size up. Huggies overnights may not work for ur ds. Have u tried the fisher price ones? I tried them but they didnt work for ds - they fit him too narrow. i have a bunch if u want them and u can try them out and see if they work better.
eta: they are a size 3

Re: Huggies Overnights....
His pee pee is pointed down every time. I have tried the Fisher Price diapers too. They didn't work. We just switched him to size 3 diapers and we have used both size 3 and 4 diapers at night with the same result. He only leaks out of the side of the diaper. No matter which way his pee pee is pointing the same thing happens.I put them on as tight as they can be and still he is wet. There has got to be something out there that works. My son can't be the only one who pees out the sides of his diaper...Thanks for the info and the offer....

Re: Huggies Overnights....
I have the same problem every night now with DD ever since she started sleeping on her stomach. Nothing is keeping her dry and it's driving me CRAZZZZZYY!! She used to sleep from 7pm-7am, but ever since she started turning herself to sleep on her stomach (about 3 weeks now) she's been getting up at around 5:30am cause she's soaked and cold.
If you come up with some magical solution, please let me know!!

Re: Huggies Overnights....
Have you tried a waterproof diaper cover that are made for cloth diapers?
If he is leaking out the legs, maybe something like this would help...
diaper cover

Re: Huggies Overnights....
I have tried it all, also from every overnight diaper, to doubling, to extra pads in the diaper, to waterproof diaper coverers. Nothing worked. I thought by going up 1 size in the pampers overnight would work but it didn't. I ended up putting my boys in a size 4 overnight pampers when they were still wearing size 2-3 and it did the trick. I was having the same exact issues.

Re: Huggies Overnights....
You have to go up a size in the Huggies Overnights. If DC wears a 3 during the day, get a 4 in the Overnights

Re: Huggies Overnights....
What time is his last bottle? Can you maybe make it earlier and change him one last time before bed?

Tonight I am trying something new. I put the diaper booster pad in the side of his diaper where he is leaking....Hopefully I won't be changing him at 3am again...

Re: Huggies Overnights....
It worked. For the first time in a long time he woke up and is jammies were dry. Changed him at 7pm last night and when he woke up at 6am his jammies and onesie were DRY... I put the booster pad around his side. It covered his left butt cheek all the way around the hip area. I made sure the diaper was snug enough and the elastic part of the legs were pulled down over the pad. When I changed him the pad was wet and the diaper was wet, but the rest of him was dry. It was a relief...Hopefully it stays this way...

Yay congrats!!! I'm going to have to start using something, I continually change DS's diaper at least 1x night and can't take it anymore.

Re: Huggies Overnights....
Double diaper. That's what I do at night because when my DD sleeps on her tummy she sometimes leaks. I put her regular Pampers Cruiser on and a Huggies Overnight on over that. Works great!

Re: Huggies Overnights....Update at bottom...
Two nights in a row with dry jammies... I put the booster pad in the top of his diaper and wrapped it around his hip area. It worked like a charm. Last night he went 11 hours with it and woke up with dry clothes. He also slept on his left side for most of the night...
