Can you share your betas with me??

So my first beta was on Saturday and it came back at 248. My second was today and it came back at 646. Doesn't this seem very high considering Im only a little over 2 weeks? Can you girls share your first and second betas if you remember?

So, no, that doesn't seem too high to me--however, what do I know? Chat Icon

2 weeks? When was the first day of your last AF? you should be about 4 weeks. If you got your BFP around when AF was due you are techniccally 4 weeks not 2 weeks.

See thats where I get confused. B/c when I was reading "What to expecct..." they said it the same way. But since my IUI was done on Feb. 18 I would only literally be 2 weeks pregnant. But am I supposed to say Im 4 weeks?? Im really confused.

Oh I see, sorry not familiar with IUI's...what did your Dr. say?

My Beta was 126 at 4/5 weeks.

You start counting the weeks from the first day of your last period...not from the time you had your IUI. So let's say the first day of your last period was on 2/4 (assuming it was 2 weeks before your IUI) you would be 4 1/2 weeks pregnant.

So the first day of my last period was January 22. So that would put me at 6 weeks. I feel wrong saying Im 6 weeks pregnant when I only had my IUI 2 weeks ago. Is this really how the dr. will consider it too?

I was shocked when I heard that too, I thought you count from ovulation but you don't.

When you do the internal sonogram they will tell you how many weeks you are.

Technically your 6 weeks, but speak to your Dr. so you don't get confused.

I had an IUI and my last period was weeks before the procedure - but they never mentioned counting that time. It was just two weeks that you add on. So if you had your IUI two weeks ago, you're 4 weeks preggo, not 6. Chat Icon

yes, 4 weeks. how many day post IUI are you exactly? your RE will give you your due date. but, when you switch back to your OB they will want to calculate it themselves and will ask for the date of your last AF. you'll have to explain yourself. i think your beta numbers are fine. congrats!
