Where did you find your nanny/babysitter?
I'm looking for a nanny or mother's helper a few hours a day.
I know about sitter city, but are there any other similar sites?
Do you think its safe to post on Craigslist?
I think I posted this a couple of months ago but didn't get many responses, I hope no one minds me posting again!

I found our babysitter on craigslist. She does it out of her house. We did a background check & references. So far so good, Liam is only with her about 5 hours a week though. She does it out of her house and is located in Holbrook.

Try care.com I used them and am very happy. You pay a small fee for access to 100's of profiles of people looking for babysitting/nanny jobs. You can also post a job. You can look through the site without joining first to see if there is anyone that interests you. Good luck!

I know 2 college students in the neighborhood (they are my sisters cousin-in-laws, twins actually). I can ask them if you would like. What hours?

i told absolutely everyone i knew that we were looking & lo and behold one of my friends had a close friend that was looking for a baby to watch again (the baby she WAS watching had grown up and was in pre-school).
