Can't eat greens
I seem to get the runs every time I eat lettuce or anything green. If I eat eggplant, I can;t have the skin. If I have a sandwich with a pice of lettuce on it, I get sick. A doctor of mine told me once that I probably have a slight degree of an irritable bowel. Is this a typical sign?

With my Crohns in full flare I can't eat those things too. Definitely could be IBS. Have you been checked out?
It's usually due to inflammation in your intestines.

I see a GI doctor but we have been so focused on the heartburn that we put the other complaints aside temporarily. We found out that the heartburn is due to a hiatal hernia. I wanted a break from invasive tests but I guess we sort of know what I need to do.
