Newbie-looking for a PCP and OB/GYN...
Hello all,
I am new to LIFAMILIES but old to LIWEDDINGS. I was married May of last year and moved from Flushing, NY to Islip Terrace. I really need a PCP and a OB/GYN in Suffolk. Does anyone have any recommendations? I am so lost because I don't know who to go to. I would really appreciate feedback. Also what is the best hospital in Suffolk. I truly appreciate anyone's time. Thank you. So happy to join LIFAMILIES.

I use Oakdale OBGYN in Oakdale on Main Street. Love the practice. They deliver at Southside.

i go to South Bay OBGYN in west islip and I looove it!!!  oh and they deliver at Good Sam which is a great hospital

I second this. The doctors are all so nice and make you feel so comfortable- and I am HORRIBLE about doctors- had a major phobia.
MY SIL delivered at Southside and so did one of my friends and they can't say enough about the maternity unit. All brand new rooms, etc.
I am very happy so far.

Like you I moved from Queens to Suffolk and went through the same switch.
My PCP is part of the Queens-Long Island Medical Group. I really like him, but he is out of Ronkonkoma off Exit 60 on the LIE.
My OB is in E. Setauket but also has an office in Sayville. Stonybrook OB/GYN. I really like the, especially Dr. Porte and Dr. O'Keefe.

I have been going to Dr Antoniadis for years!!! He is great and is right in West Islip like 2 blocks from Good Sam (and he delievers there too)

LOVE this office also, I switched from SouthBay in West Islip. I always waited over an hr for my appt. Oakdale is pretty much right on schedule every appt.
