Has anyone ever used Effexor XR to treat Depression?

I just took my first pill and I am having such anxiety about it. I am freaking myself out.

I hate medicine and I am just worried about the side effects even though my Dr's said at this low of a dosage, I shouldn't really have any.

Can anyone offer some info on their side effects?

Effexor is very good at controlling Depression and quickly. The problem usually is when people try to come off if it, they find it very difficult. But this is not for everyone. Try it and see how it works for you.

Some people have terrible side effects and others can't even tell a difference. If you don't like how it makes you feel, just let your doc know and you can try something new. Don't do what I did and try to "tuff it out" , that was a bad plan. Its either going to work for you or not.
