Is anyone still up???? Stomach virus-related
My poor little girl can't catch a break--in the last 2 weeks she's had a double ear infection, bronchitis, allergic reactions to 3 antibiotics, and now we're convinced she's gotten the stomach virus
She's 15 months. An hour ago we heard a funny noise on the monitor, and found that she had thrown up allllll over the crib. She's been throwing up (mostly phlegm and water) every 10 minutes for the last hour.
What can we do? I'm afraid to put her back to bed just to have to change her sheets again in 10 minutes.
Anyone have any ideas what we can do? This is our first stomach virus that we're dealing with

Re: Is anyone still up???? Stomach virus-related
dd#2 did this the other night....she threw up three times, then (thank god!) slept the whole night fine and was fine the next morning...so no advice...
I got it on tuesday and was down for the count - horrible stomach pains and nauseous but no puking....
dd#1 worke up at 4 am today and threw up (sheet change)...she got a quick bath (imagine long hair ewwwww ) and went back to sleep, she woke up at 7 and puked again....in her hand (saving the sheets, how she knew to do it, I am not sure but I 'd her!) and then went back to sleep...ff to 12 where she promptly threw up breakfast all over me....and has been fine (knock on wood) since....
ours was quick and seems to be a three puke rule.....hoping yours is a quick one too and your dc is better soon!

Thanks. She just threw up again--every time she is just about to fall asleep, she sits up, starts crying, and starts wretching again

give her pedialyte tom when she's up to clear her tummy...as for tonight, just comfort her and sleep with her if you're able to. hope she gets better

Just make sure you keep her hydrated. They even have pedialyte pops.

Poor thing. Give her sips of pedialyte until she is able to hold it down. Let her drink a few sips every 15 or 20 minutes.
