Cesspool Cost and Companies
We are thinking that we need to have our cesspool pumped. Can you tell me how much you paid to have yours maintained (Pumped or aerated). Can you also recommend a good/reputable company?

We just had both of ours pumped, aerated, and also had chemicals added. It was $560 + tax, for a grand total of $607.60.
The work was done by Quality Sewer & Drain. I don't think it's the cheapest one around, but I was extremely pleased with their customer service (came very soon after I called, answered a lot of questions, etc).

We used Eastwind Envirionmental to pump and later replace our old cinderblock system. It was a few years ago so I don't recall the price but we were pleased with the service and will use them in the future.

I've had it done twice in the 13 years I'm in my home and $600-$700 is about right.
I'm sorry I don't remember who we used either time, but my impression is that there isn't a big price variation for this type of service.
