duoglider or side-by-side?
We got a Graco duoglider from a friend of mine, she barely used it. I was set on a side-by-side, so we bought the combi twin sport; not my first choice, but we were able to use the 20% off and we had a $100 gift card, so in the end, we only paid $99 with tax. Sort of a no-brainer, especially since we probably won't be using it more than 3x per week. My oldest is about 20 months and youngest is 5 months. I just like how they sit next to each other in the side-by-side.
Anyway, after going through a few stores, I am finding that the side-by-side is a bit of a pain - it doesn't fit through the checkout area in supermarkets. My question is, which do you think I should use? Whichever one we don't use, we plan on giving to the babysitter who watches them 3 days per week to walk outside. Just wondering how those of you who had one or the other and have been using it for a long time have found either to be. Also, those of you who have the duoglider, where does the infant seat go? I'm thinking in the rear seat, but there is no lapbar there - my friend used it once and doesn't know much about it. Thanks.

Re: duoglider or side-by-side?
I wish I can be helpful here but I have the following stollers:
Peg Perego Duette (to snap car seats in) - it has a steering wheel. Front to back. When they get bigger I can go to regular seats so they can sit facing eachother, facing me, or facing out.
Baby Jogger city classic (side by side) - very heavy can't put in trunk but I use it cruising around town.
Another side by side (forgot the name) - its for the car use.
if you can score one of each i think you struck gold.

I have both of the strollers you mentioned. I love my Combi b/c it's so easy and the boys love being next to each other. It is def. annoying when you go shopping. I agree. As for my Duoglider. It is so heavy and whichever son I put in the back cries the whole time b/c he hates not being able to see.

I agree, the side by side is nice to have them next to each other. We ended up giving the duoglider to the sitter and we're going to use the combi. I took the duoglider to the mall last weekend and found it was tougher to push and steer. i guess they both have their ups and downs.

I have a SBS (maclaren twin techno) and am very happy with it. I don't have issues with fitting anywhere.
