Is it just me....
or do you sometimes feel like it is you putting more into TTC. I just feel like at times he takes not being able to get pregnant so far with a grain of salt. For me it is something serious happening in our lives and am upset that we have not yet concieved. He just keeps saying we've only been trying for a while. For me that while seems like forever. He thinks I am crazy with my stash of ovulation kits and pregnancy tests under the sink. But hey, I will do anything to get pregnant. Is it wrong for me to want to see him dissapointed that I am not pregnant yet? Sorry ladies, its been one of those weeks and just had to vent. Just wanted to know if anyone else felt this way.

Re: Is it just me....
It's not just you. My DH is not concerned at all that we haven't gotten pg yet and thinks I'm overreacting.
I think guys just have a totally different perspective on reproduction that FOR SOME OF THEM it's difficult for them to understand what's involved and how emotionally exhausting it can be.
I am sorry you're going through it though. I don't have any advice that works because I'm dealing with the same thing. I do try to talk to DH about what I read on here (success stories and the difficulties) so he has a better grasp of the scope of the problem.
I also read on this board a long time ago about a woman who brought her DH to the dr with her so the dr could explain the situation.
Hang in there!

Re: Is it just me....
My husband was teh same way to a point. at the beginning he acted just like that. NOW...I think hes more into TTC then I AM. I dont know when he "turned" around but now he is concerned and "into" it much more. I think it proves it just takes men longer to accept and understand things. HE will come around, and hopefully you get a BFP before it becomes an issue

Re: Is it just me....
Dh has been so supportive throughout the ttc process. At the beginning of each cycle, he asks me what's the estimated ovulation dates so that he'll make sure he's free during that time. Then he always asks me if I used the kit. DH is great in asking if there is anything he can do to up our chances of conceiving. And then each month, when we don't get pg, he cries along with me. He's fantastic.

Re: Is it just me....
I have had the same issue with my DH. They just don't get it sometimes. My dh was like stop making me crazy the bathroom is like a laboratory- but after he went with me to my Dr I think he understood.
It'll get better.
