Closing costs
CAn anyone tell me on average what closing cost are? I have heard it is about 3 percent of the purchase price? Anyone ideas!

mine are anticipated to be around 10k, but I think they said mine would be lower because I am doing a VA loan or something.

betw 3-5%. Mine were 3.5%.

I think it dpeends on a few facotrs, ourswil lbe more as we are buying in an area that has an additional Tow ntax, I think it could also increase if you are paying points....but not sure about that.

sometimes i think you can get the sellers to pay for the closing costs - not sure of the conditions, but i have heard of it happening!
i'd anticipate 20 at most, but probably something more like 15ish.
