So...what's new?
Spring must have sprung up there in the northeast, this board looks so...quiet. Are all the CFers out enjoying the beautiful weather?

i wish i could say yes! been dealing with mom's health issues on an ongoing basis which has taken all my time. but i'm thankful that I don't have to care for a little one during all this, i'd be

i just got PRK surgery done to my eyes... i knew it would be a longer healing process than with lasik, but i'm definitely starting to get a little depressed and disheartened with the results. after 3 weeks off, i will be headed back to work this wednesday - with eyesight not as good as it was with my contacts

Hi ladies!
Last week was crazy busy at work, and I was moved into a new department. All new people to adjust to, new routines to learn.
DH took me out for a surprise date on Saturday- Dinosaur BBQ, lounging in Central Park and to see Michael Buble at MSG.  
Aww, Krista I hope your vision improves soon. I know how scary the recovery can be.

This board has been quiet lately.
It's been work, work, work. Thankfully I've been busy, and just trying to get everything ready for my vacation in 3 weeks. Still have to figure out clothes and such.
This weekend's weather was absolutely gorgeous. I cleaned up the rest of my garden and planted some pansies to get the color started, much to the delight of my neighbors.
So what's going on with everyone else ?

I worked crazy hours in Feb but things were a lot more manageable in March so we've been making the most of my free time! 
This month we: took a weekend trip to AC, had BIL visit for a week, went to see my family this past weekend, did a few dinners with friends, and spent a lot of time exploring the city. We saw Billy Elliot last week and are going to see Christopher Walken's new play this week. You could say we have been keeping busy

Nothing much...my dad was in town for a few days and I've been just trying to catch up on school work. Oh and I started planting seeds indoors. Some have already sprouted!

Where are you going? I'm starting to get the itch to move--I've been in my co-op 3 & 1/2 years. I've always rented, so the longest I've been in 1 place was 4 years. I'm not used to this owning thing. 
To answer the question, work has been annoying & crazy, and DH & I were happy to get out first bike ride of the year in on Sunday.
Krista, that sucks about your eyes--I hope it gets better soon.

While I do love Spring I hate when I have to suffer with my allergies and it just seems more horrible than usual this season. They are chalking it up to all the rain that we had. I am just trying to deal with this the best that I can! Once June 1st hits I will be in the clear!
