Please help me relax
I just got a BFP on Monday. AF is due tomorrow. I tested again today and I was expecting a darker line. It is still light. I also have some pinkish/brown cm when I wipe. (Sorry TMI). I don't have a Dr.'s appt. until 8 weeks. I know spotting is normal and I did have implantion spotting for a few days with my first just not this close to AF's due date. I'm beside myself and DH is away on business and I have no one else to turn to. I feel like AF changed her mind and is going to make an appearance after all. To top it off tomorrow is my birthday and I want to be happy. Why don't Dr.s let you come in right away to atleast give us some piece of mund. Sorry for the rambling.....

I wouldn't necessarily expect the line on the HPT to get darker for another few days. It's still a little early. As far as spotting, it's so common and if it's brownish blood....that indicates that it's old.

Couldn't have said it better. You are still testing BEFORE your AF is due, so that is most likely why the line is still a bit light. I'm sure that if you continue to test later in the week, you'll see a darker line And also please remember that with some HPTs, it depends on the 'dye' and certain brands of tests just never give you a dark line. I know wiht those darn plus/minus tests I was many weeks PG and it never got darker!
Try to take care of yourself and relax!!

It's normal to spot in the beginning, lot of women go through it. Dont worry if the test isnt getting darker yet. The amount of dye in tests varies from test to test. Being that AF isn't even late yet, please dont worry. Wait until she is due and even a couple more days and take another test.
If you are that worried, call your doctor and tell them you want to come in earlier.

A line is a line. You could barely see mine and I tested when AF was one day late. Try not to worry and congrats

First , second, can you take a digital test to see if it reads "pregnant", that way you dont have to determine if i line is dark or light.

i spottedin the beginning, for the first 2 months ... i thought it was AF, turns out i WAS preggo and didn't realize ... how dumb am i!? so dont stress over it, it's common.
