Sex and the city shower..

Hi:
I need some help from some newlyweds. My SIL is getting married and her shower is in august. Im in charge of helping MIL with the favors, invites, etc. (her BP is very small and im not sure who is able to help with what)

anyway, any ideas for a sex and the city theme. its one of her fav shows and she's very much the city girl. Im familiar with the show but not an avid watcher,so any ideas would be very helpful!

Signature drink - pink cosmo
Shoe decorations - I would find shoe note pads as favors
Have a cake with shoes and bags "high end designers"

YOu could get purse shaped invitations and place cards.

you can also do a manolo cake! The cake gallery in bellmore does great ones, you can look on facebook if you want.

For CP's you can use feathers. For some reason when I think Carrie, I think feathers? Maybe it was the bird she wore in her hair in the movie.

You can also use "post-its"

I love the cupcakes (makes me hungry just looking at them!) and the cosmo jelly bean favors!

I did this for my sister

I made cosmo punch for drinks- pretty much just cosmos in a punch bowl

I made her a bird veil- from the movie

I used purses and shoes for decorations- and lots of pink


for favors I got purses and shoe chocolate lollipops

I will post more as I think of what I did
