Those PG with #2...

Isnt it weirding you out taking out all the baby stuff that you havent seen in a while? We got the nursery ready (we're using same bedding) and have started taking out the bouncer, the swing, the infant car seat etc. and it's so hard to believe DS was in them only 2 years ago... And forget about the clothes! I cant believe DS was ever that little. It just all feels like forever ago to me and he's only 2! I think it's all just starting to really hit me now...

Yes, everything is so tiny!!!! When I was packing my bag, I had a onesie on the bed. DH put it up to his chest and even he got a little emotional!Chat Icon

I'm still amazed at how many clothes we have though. I only cleaned the gender neutral ones, and DS has 2 bins in his room full of clothing. It's unreal!

DD is just shy of 11 months so we still have all of our baby items out... but I do know what you mean with the clothes. We've gotten some newborn size clothes for DS and I can't believe that DD was that small only 10.5 months ago!! It's amazing how fast it goes by!

Nope, but only because we're having a boy this time around and NOTHING I have from DD is useable except for white onsies.

It's been 7 years since my first so I don't have anything other than a few clothes I saved. I've taken them out and really can't even believe there was a time when DS was ever that tiny.Chat Icon

I know! We went to the Carter's Outlet this weekend to get some stuff and I couldn't believe how small 0-3m was. I haven't taken out all my big stuff yet but I guess I should get started considering Chat Icon is going to be here in 37 days!!!

What's funny is that I packed up all of abby's clothes before I even knew what we were having. Abby doesn't seem all that big to me. I see little babies now and wonder "Can I do this AGAIN?"

OMG yes. DH and I were in awe whenever something came out. We are costume ho's and pulling out all the costumes makes us laugh sooo hard.

Re: Those PG with #2...

I haven't done anything yet because I still have some time, but I remember getting hysterical when it was time to pack up DS's newborn clothes. Chat Icon I keep a few sentimental items in his room (first outfit home, side snap tee and the outfit he wore when we had to take him to the hospital at 5 days old) to remind me of when he was first born.

I think I will keep some of those items in DS's new room to remind me all the time, even when he's 18 that he's still my little boy.......

I can only imagine all the emotions to come taking all that stuff out of the attic and seeing it again......Chat Icon

YES! We did the clothes a few weeks ago and did the gear this weekend. Now I'm trying to remember how to take the covers off of everything to wash them! Good thing DD likes putting her baby dolls in all the gear. Fighting the old stains that re-emerged was tough but I found a method that worked wonders!

Re: Those PG with #2...

Since DS is only shy of 8 months, I still have the majority of his stuff out or in storage bins in his room(we were waiting to see if it was another boy). Now I am starting to get anxious to take all the clothes out that some DS never wore. I even bought a "little brother" shirt yesterday in NB & could not believe how small

Re: Those PG with #2...

I haven't done that much yet. Just pulled out the gender neutral stuff from DD's clothes. And I've bought a few boyish things for DS (blankets and such).

I DID just come to the realization that I was having another baby. Chat Icon
