Isabella Marie 4/16/10

Well, Ive been having problems with my bp since i hit 37 weeks. My primary OB didnt have a care in the world that my bp was around 150/100. He stated that that is normal bp. So I called the ob that is schedule to do my csection and he stated to come in on thursday. That day i wasnt feeling well neasous/dizzy/ spots in front of my eyes. He checked my bp and it was 160/100. He stated that we are going to throw in the towel and deliever this baby. It seems like you are preeclampic. He told me to call his office on Friday and they will give me a time to head over to good sam . Well Friday, i called he stated to head straight to admitting and then we will get you started on your csection. I get upstairs to L&D and they did an IV drew blood. I was just getting over an upper respitory infection and i had a cough and they wanted to make so that my cbc was normal before they did the csestion. All labs were normal. Dr. Trivedi came in and said we are ready to roll. I get in the OR and i started to panic. I was so nervous. They gave me a spinal and they start the csection. I dont know what they gave me but the room was spinning. They told me the baby was out and my DH was holding her the whole time while they were stiching me up. I was in recover for 2 hrs and that is when they started me on magnesium. That stuff is horrible. When i got to my room i felt like i was all drugged up they had to check my blood every 6hrs, they put pads on the bed cause the magnesium can cause seizures, also I thought i had a fever, but the side effects is hot flashes and omg did i have them. I was also coughing and the pain was so bad i didnt want to cough. good sam was great, they have a really great staff and most of all Dr, Trivedi is wonderful!!!

Bella weighed in at 5pounds 14oz.
She is great and i cant believe i had her.

Congrats!

I was on the magnesuim as well..it was serious stuff. I felt like mush I couldnt even hold my DS. I came off of that after 24 hours and I felt like superwoman!
