Turks and Caicos???

Can anyone recommend a hotel there other than Beaches? And for those that have been, was it worth it? All the hotels seem so pricey, just wondering if it is worth it! TIA

Re: Turks and Caicos???

We were going to go in May. I am pretty sure we are going to stay at the Windsong. It got pretty good reviews on trip advisor and is not as expensive as the other hotels so we think we will try it.

What about Club Med? It's one of the older Club Med resorts, but I have heard that the property is in the best location.

Re: Turks and Caicos???

We were going to stay at the Regent Palms for our honeymoon back in 2006.

We ended up going to St. Lucia instead. I know a few people who have stayed here & all have LOVED it.

Turks & Caicos is over all a very $$ island. Gorgeous but $$.

We are looking into places also...other than beaches, which seems nice, but $$$Chat Icon (was getting quoted like $6700 for the cheapest room)

Parrot Cay (which is supposed to be amazing) and somewhat kid friendly based on Frommer's review had a special saty 7 nights get 2 free... I believe the resort is also rated higher than beaches - very different though, more secluded.

It also doesn't have much of a night life if that's what you are into. It's perfect for DH and I since we always end up going to bed early because we're exhausted from the sun Chat Icon
