Re: Anyone have laser vein removal...serious case of it?
I have had 4 major removals over the past 18 months. They needed to remove many varicose from from lower legs, but also removed some crushed veins in my upper legs. Those were the hardest. The laser removal was the easiest. I have about 50 incisions. Being awake for the procedures was the hardest part for me. But that was because I had a horrible c-section experience and I am very nervous about awake surgeries now.
Good luck!

Vascular surgeons. I highly recommend Pollina. He rocks and puts you at ease!

Sorry I was so vague. I suck lately with my answers.
Robert Pollina Suffolk Vascular Associates
Port Jefferson Office 631-476-9100
Patchogue Office 631-207-0400
Removal of them is considered cosmetic, unless they are causing pain or other problems. (But the doctors will typically do whatever they can to get it covered.) For me, many of my veins were crushed by a low, large, pregnant belly. I literally lost a lot of my veins because it took too long for doctors to figure it out. I had lost feeling in my legs. I wasn't even able to drive. I was an extreme case though.
