Bouncers & Slydos OR Pump It Up for b-day party?

I want to have TJ's 3rd b-day at a bouncer place. We have gone to Bouncers and Slydos and he LOVES it but I havent heard good reviews about parties there from some of the girls on the website. And when I called to get more info., I was told they have a party every hour. Seems a little rushed to me. Chat Icon

How is Pump It Up? I have never been. Same kind of place?

Any other bounce places you recommend for a b-day party?

Not sure about either of those places since I have never been, but I did recently go to a 2nd birthday party at Bounce U and it was really nice. The staff was great and everything ran very smoothly!

Re: Bouncers & Slydos OR Pump It Up for b-day party?

I've been to both for parties and I think Pump it Up is a better party. However I think B&S has more stuff for the smaller children to play on. I liked the overall layout of PIU better though in both the inflatables rooms and the room where they eat. I found B&S so cramped, when you are trying to help your child with the food or drink, you can barely get through unless they are still on the ends. PIU with the cafeteria type tables made it much easier to not worry about chairs being moved and in the way (unless B&S has changed their tables - when I was there last it was individual chairs) Also PIU brings the kids into another room with another set of bouncers whereas B&S, they stay in 1 room until it's time to eat & have cake. So my vote would def be for PIU.

I was told at Bouncers and Slydos they run a new party every hour but I just called PIU and they said every 1/2 hour. Was it rushed? I guess PIU is better b/c they have the 2 rooms.

There will be some kids there who will be 2. Does PIU have smaller bouncers for them like Bouncers and Slydos?

I had dd's 2nd bday there bc we won it through an auction. AWESOME party! Very clean, well done!
My ONLY issue was the party we won was 500 dollars and we still paid an additional 250. IMHO...750 is ALOT for a bday party but of course you can be the judge of that. There are coupons in those parenting books Ive seen lately for 75 off so if u do book it be sure to get one. Hope this helps a little.

Never been to Pump It Up but my BF had her son's 2nd birthday at Bouncers and Slydos and it was great! We were actually saying they should serve alcohol in the evening - it'd be a very fun place for an adults only birthday party Chat Icon

Thats def an issue bc they really dont have much for the little ones. Like I said my dd was turning 2. She went on all the big inflatables like the rest of the kids. My nephew was 16 months and he didnt do much.

So PIU is ok for 2 yr olds? There won't be anyone younger than 2 that will be participating. There will only be a couple of 2 yrs olds. Everyone else will be 3 and than two 5 yr. olds.

ETA: I am expecting 12-15 kids + parents so I want to make sure there is enough room in the party room as well. It seems Bouncers party room is small.

Been there too.
A huge issue for me was finding the entrance...LOL I felt like I was going off the beaten path to get to the front door. I dont think you can compare it to the 2 you named BUT the price is certainly worth it. Also, the room the kids eat/have cake in is way smaller then the other places. Have you looked into wood kingdom?
I love everything about their party set up plus they have small bouncers.

Did you go to the Holiday or Vday GTGs last year? Those were bday parties at Kangaroo Kids (I'm 99% sure)

Weird. For some reason, I thought you did!

It was a lot of fun, and I think very well organized. I liked that they had things that my little weenie would do (even at under 2) and fun stuff for the bigger kids...

I am going to stop by and check it out but if you said your 2 yr. old had fun I think it will be ok for my party. Like I said there will only be two children under 3 and the rest are 3 and two older kids.

ETA: Is the party room big enough for 12-15 kids + parents? Boucners party room is kind of small.

Hands down the answer is Pump It Up or NY Party Zone.

All I can say about Bouncers and Slydos is STAY AWAY. The staff is incompetent and the management is disreputable. They misbooked our party, making us have to scramble days before to change arrangements. Then, after first telling us they'd refund our deposit, they changed their mind and said they were keeping it. If you want a better place, go to NY Party Zone like we did. They were helpful and all the kids had a great time.
