Weighted Lap Snake/Pad
Can anyone recommend one that their DC likes and where you purchased it from?
Ds's therapist thinks this will help him attend better if given the right proprioceptive input.

i got a mickey mouse lap pad for my younger ds but he couldn't care less. i'm not sure where i got it or how much i paid but if ur interested i'll look it up and give it to u much cheaper than what i paid. (it's maybe 3 months old but never used.)
my older ds has weighted stuffed animals that he likes but my cousin passed them down. i just know they were

Oh man, I saw this after I ordered one last night. It got him a weighted lizard to the tune of almost 50 bucks
I should really have just made one with a tube sock and some rice. I hope he likes it!

you're not kidding.
I seriously now have it in my head that I have sensory issues and while i was looking for this stinkin lizard i came across weighted blankets which I thought I would really love...until I saw that they were over 200 bucks!

Lisa, just see if you can steal one of the lead blankets from your dentist! I swear every time they put that thing on me to take x-rays, I want to stay under it and take a nap!

You're spot on Amanda...I LOVE the lead blanket which I why I was thinking that I would totally love a weighted blanket.
And if Matthew doesn't like his lap lizard I'm bringing it to work. Maybe it will help my concentration (i.e. the ability not to go on LIF or facebook all day)
