How often do you misplace or lose things?

I am beginning to think that there is something wrong with me...

I lose my keys on a weekly basis....

I missed work last week because of it.....totally ridiculous!!!!!!!!

Pretty much every day. It doesn't help that I never seem to put anything in the same place twice!

Now if only I could posses my 2 year old DS's power of recollection I would be awesome! I am amazed at how he remembers exactly where EVERYTHING is in the house!

I find it helps to always put things back in the same place

like my train pass/metrocard - i always put it in the same pocket in my bag so i know where it is. If it's not there, i would have NO idea where it is because it's never not there...
DH switches his pass around from his wallet, to his jacket, to his bag - and subsequently, he's always forgetting it!

So maybe for things that you find yourself misplacing all the time.. think of set places that you can always put them, so eventually you'll train yourself to always put them there and do it automatically

Not too often. Despite my perpetual state of chaos - I can usually lay my hands on what ever I am looking for pretty easily.

i always try to put things in the same place, the second i go there and it is not there i curse myself out b/c i realize i switched things up on myself and now have to retrain myself to put whatever it is in a new spot!

Honestly, not very often at all! Which surprises me b/c my Apt is a mess lol But for some reason i NEVER lose anything! I always seem to remember where I place everything, even the not so important things.

Now ask me when I did yesterday...that's another story. My memory doesn't hold up that way lol

i'm paranoid about my keys...they are ALWAYS put on the hook before bed...I will even get out of bed to check that they there are


I rarely lose things, but misplace them all the time. But it's not my fault, it's DH's. He mixes stuff up all the time during "cleaning" (or, his version of "cleaning")

I misplace my keys A LOT - only b/c my office is such a disorganized mess.

I'm constantly feeling my desk with both my hands spread - on top of all the paper - looking for the bump that is my keys.

I do misplace my Keys A LOT! It is bad. I have a system that I try to stick to as much as possible and put them on a key ring hook at home when I walk in the door.

That does not help though when I am out If it is not my keys it is my cell phone Too many things in my hand , with too many things on my mind = absent minded

all the time. If I'm preoccupied it's worse.
If I'm talking to someone at the time that I have the keys in my hand, I can never remember where I put them. I misplace my keys, my sunglasses, and my eyeglasses constantly. I have a spare set of keys that i keep in the same place all the time so that if I misplace my reguiar set, then I will know where the spare is. Once O find the regular keys, I make sure to put the spare back where they belong, so that I am never late for or miss anything.

I try to put things back in the same place, too. I find that it helps a lot. But for some reason, I can tell you where ANYTHING that belongs to my husband is. He loses things everyday and will ask me if I saw them. Somehow, I must make a mental note of where I saw it and tell him. And we're talking keys inside of shoes in the kitchen, his cell phone on top of the frig, etc. His stuff is always so out of place that they stick out to me.

ive been hanging my keys up as soon as i get home thats the only way ive been staying sane and honestly sometimes i dont even remember hanging them up.

depends on the day/time......

at midnight i lost my glasses(never good when im up late)...

i use to misplace my keys ALOT..... until i got a small table for the hallway. my keys always go on it when i come home and my purse on the floor next to the table so im never looking around.

VERY often!!

It can get very frustrating. It's very easy for me to put something down somewhere, even in a familiar place, and forget all about it.
It's very important for me to try to be focused, organized, and clutter-free so that I know and remember where things are. I can't trust my memory too much.

Hmm, I just turned 50! I guess a lifestyle adjustment is in order.

All the time. Was bad b4 I had DS. I'm worse now!

I must lose the keys all the time. Sometimes it's too easy with the keyless entry and push start. Never know which purse or diaper bag it was in last

I've also washed my hair a few times b/c I forget if I did or not
