Verizon HTC Incredible (Droid)
I got it monday and I'm still figuring it out. I came from a bberry, its really not too different. It's "cooler". Soooo much like the iPhone. I'm loving it!
I only have little complaints so far:
1 - battery life isn't so hot. not much different than my storm (must be the touch screen), but not as good at the curve.
2 - please let me know if you've figured this out....if the screen "times out" (i have it set to 30 sec), you can't just tap the screen and wake it up! you have to push the button on the top, then slide the slider. Am i wrong? It gets a little annoying when its on my desk and I want to see my messages/a contact/etc and its a 3 step process instead of just picking it up and going. I wish it would just shut the backlight, not go into full sleep mode.
3- my bberry storm had a better speakerphone, and i also like the large LED alert light better. Maybe I'll actually use the jawbone bluetooth i have just sitting around 
Anyone else have it?
What do you think?

I don't have a Droid but my friend does. We were away this weekend and while I charged my BB once she must have charged her phone at least 6 times.
She loves it but said the battery life is horrible.

i've heard that about the motorola droid --- i have the HTC droid though
It's a FUN phone - way more fun than the bberry

Yes, I have the driod you don't have to do that step process. You have to get your settings correct.
You can go into any V dealer and they will show you how to navigate it for your liking. I finally gave in after week 2 and did this.
I also have something on my phone called the app killer. You should install this ASAP. This helps a lot with the battery life.
Honestly, this phone I wanted to throw out the window or against the wall for a whole 2 wks bc like you I went from the bb to driod.After I got used to it I just love it bc of all the apps.
The only thing I miss about my bb is bb messenger.
Driod's downside I found thus so far is talking while not on speaker bc of the touch tone screen it tends to make buttons go off easy and you hear it in your ear bc it is too sensitive. I just try not to talk out in public now and wait till I am in a quiet place with noone around keeping it on speaker. Personally I don't like it anyway when people are in a store and talking on the phone the whole time next to me. It is annoying.So I am practicing what I preach bc don't care to hear it!

DH has this phone.
Battery life is just plain awful, and he hasn't figured out that sleep mode thing either.
One of the biggest things that bothers me, is that i've dropped numerous calls on it becuase my ear rubs up to something on the touch screen.
Although that's only happened to me, and not DH.
I realize I'm probably no help.

get the app killer......Made my battery last 2 days now. also when the battery is low it will show you what used most of the battery....change the screen settings that will also help with the battery

I am charging it every night, so I will def look into the app killer.
I haven't figured out another way to "unlock the phone" from sleep mode either but I will look!!
My one complain so far is that I keep calling people from my call list because when I scroll down to see who calls, it picks it up as place call - lol

I need a new phone...currently have the bb curve and was considering this phone. But, if the battery life is not good...I don't think it will work for me. I NEED my phone to last all day!

Verzon offered me a motorola droid because my 2 year contract has been up for awhile. I am asking for the one you got Shorty!

HUGE improvement!
HUGE difference!!! I use it every day and I have no battery complaints.
I have the Motorola Droid but maybe you have this too. . . Its called the "Power Control" widget. It has buttons on there to control GPS, WIFI, screen brightness etc. I keep everything on OFF and my battery lasts even longer!
((On my phone you go to menu, add, widget, power control -- dont know how similar the phones are though))

i love it, its the best phone i've ever had. Its SO FAST and i run so many apps and programs.
Once I installed the task killer, the battery lasts a day and a half and I use it A LOT.
It blows my bberry away!
