Need prayers for my DH - update again 4/19/06
For the past month, DH has been having severe back pain. On Tuesday, it was so bad we went to the ER ... for him to even ask to go to a doctor, I knew something was wrong.
They took a cat scan, couldn't really diagnose, though. Just said it was a muscular pull and neurological and he should see a specialist.
Today, the radiologist called to say they saw a 'shadow' on his kidney, from the cat scan, and want him to get a sonogram done as it could be a cyst or lesion (sp?).
So we have an appt on Saturday to see our regular doctor and will get a referral from there.
Please keep us in your prayers that the sonogram and everything else , turns out ok. Also, if some of you may remember, I have been posting about not having insurance, so please pray for us financially as well.
I will update with more as I know. Thanks

We went yesterday to our regular doctor for the referral. I will call tomorrow to make the actual sono appt. It's actually at the place where I get my sono's for the baby so it's nice and close and hopefully, since they know us, they'll work w/ us, financially ya know? but after the sono, they send results back to our dr then we meet w/ our dr to discuss. so it will probably be another week before we know anything definite. Our dr checked him out quickly and everything else (vitals and such) looked fine, but she said it doesn't hurt to check so we're definitely going to follow through with this. Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts so far

------------------------------------------------------all the prayers worked!!! thank you!!!! we went to have the ultrasound done this morning and the tech said it was so tiny he's surprised the cat scan even picked it up. it is just a cyst, about the size of a centimeter and said it was nothing to worry about. i'm glad we got it checked out tho, better safe than sorry.
