A question...

I am a long time lurker, and not TTCing, but I am hoping you ladies can offer some advice since you all know so much about cycles/periods/etc. I apologize if this is TMI.

My period started more or less when it should have (I am not like clockwork, but pretty close), but it’s been unusual. I’m not having a full-on flow, just very light spotting. Like, not even enough to stain a pad or my underwear, just a very light spot when I am using the bathroom. I’ve been feeling pretty hormonal (as usual) and having cramps (also usual) but nothing extreme.

I am on antibiotics for a dental issue, but I didn’t start taking them until a day or two after the spotting began. And I have taken two pregnancy tests, both negative.

Any insights? When do I freak out and call the doctor?

I really appreciate any info/suggestions/ advice you can offer. Thanks!

I'm not sure, maybe the meds messed up your cycle? You could call your dr and ask and/or take another PG test in a couple of days and see what happens. Sorry I cant be of more help!

Thanks for the advice. The spotting started before the meds actually, and I took the tests a few days apart. I guess I'm going to have to call the doctor...I hate going to the gyno
