It's big. Really, really big.
The good: they are able to offer more because there are more students to service.
The bad: kids can get lost because there are so many students.
We're currently in the district. It wasn't our first choice....but it's not bad, so we're happy. And I also firmly believe that as long as we stay involved in our child's education, and we stress the importance of school, our child(ren) will not get lost, or be ignored.

I went to Sachem from K-12th grade and my kids are going through now. I highly recommend them and have had no major problems.

it is a really big district which was kinda a turn off, but it is a pretty good district which canceled that out. we were def. looking in that area (found in a differnt district but it was one of our top choices)
