Do you feel like a celeb or tourist attraction when you are out with them!
OMG I really feel like a celebrity pushing them around in their double stroller! If I don't get stopped I hear people talking and me and them...it's kind of weird.
And I love the people who say "well I have triplets or I know someone who has quads" didn't know it was a competition!

Yes and I find it kinda weird. While I love hearing how cute they are, IMO..I don't want them to grow up thinking they are "special" just b/c they are twins. They are special children.Period. Kwim? And i feel badly for my son who is always standing to the side wondering why he"s not " so cute...etc."

I remember this fondly....
My girls are 11 now and they still sometimes get made a fuss over b/c they are pretty, blond haired, green eyed, identical twins. It makes them feel special, which they are, and it builds self esteem, so we dont mind it one bit.
As far as the people who come up to you and say "Oh I have twins" or "I have triplets" I never found it to be a "Competition" I always felt that it was a camaraderie type of thing..

It doesn't bother me too much....but some people want to stop and chat and to be honest, I am usually in a rush. And I have my 3 yr old with me who ends up standing there just looking sad when people ignore him. When someone asks him if he is the big brother he gets so excited.
But really....when I am out alone with all 3 feel like a spectacle in the store!! People constantly stop and ask me if I am alone with them!

I get this a lot, people really seem to love twins. I've never noticed twins before I had mine, but for many people it's a big attraction. My 3 year old makes sure he gets his time too.

Lauren(Sweettooth) and Jenna (Cjmommy) used to always walk to mall and go out to eat while I was on maternity leave.
Two sets of twins and sadie! People CONSTANTLY talked to us, or should I say them. LOL poor Sadie always got the sympathy "after thought" hahahahaha.

aww poor Sadie lol! We should have just told everyone that she and M&J were triplets!
Like Mel said above, it does die down as they get older. I don't get stopped very often anymore.

Mine are 5.5 months and I get sooooo much attention. Honestly I don't mind at all (unless I'm in a rush). The boys love it  Sometimes it does get a little ridiculous, though.

OMG!!! All the time!!!!! I remember one time I think I had all the sales associates in Macy's shoe department around my stroller! It was so funny. Gia was out cold but Nicky was awake and flirting with all the ladies and loving every minute of it!!!
I usually don't mind unless, like others have said, I'm in a rush.
I always feel bad when my 4 year old is with me and he gets ignored so I always make it a point to introduce the big brother. Most people get it and start talking to him and he gets all excited and introduces his brother and sister and starts talking about them.

It definitly gets better as they get older. People don't even realize my two are twins any more and are shocked if it comes up in conversation.

I have said if you can't be social don't have twins. LOL! My friend would be like why does EVERYONE have to stop you. Or I wouldn't talk to 1/2 these people. I loved it. And I agree with the AP that when I had my son around I hated when they forgot him.
Now I make sure to say hello to the big brother/sister first. And if I don't have them with me I am known to say "I have 4 year old twin girls at home." LOL
